Wheat Flour Sieving Machine

Wheat Flour Sieving Machine Types
Wheat Flour Sieving Machines are categorized into the following five types based on sieving requirements. They are commonly used for sieving flour, ranging from coarse flour to very fine flour.
Linear Vibrating Screen: A motor drives the eccentric block to produce linear vibration, causing the flour to move linearly along the sieve surface. These machines offer 1-5 screen layers, a sieving mesh size of 20-200 mesh, a throughput of 10-50 tons/hour, and a sieving efficiency exceeding 95%. They feature easy screen replacement and adjustable vibration frequency and amplitude. Suitable for low-gluten flour, medium-gluten flour, and high-gluten flour, they are a staple in large and medium-sized flour mills, used for coarse and fine sieving, or grading flour.
Rotary Vibrating Screen: A motor drives the sieve frame to produce three-dimensional rotational vibration, causing the flour to move in a spiral trajectory. The number of screen layers is 1-3, the screening mesh is 80-500 mesh, the output is 1-8 tons/hour, the screening accuracy is high, the screen is tensioned and fixed, easy to clean, and meets GMP standards. It is suitable for fine screening of high-end flours such as pastry flour and bread flour, or quality control before delivery.
Airflow screen
1.Negative pressure airflow screen: The negative pressure fan sucks flour into the screen cavity, the number of screen layers is 1, the screening mesh is 500-1000 mesh, the output is 0.5-3 tons/hour, no mechanical vibration, no dust pollution. It is used for screening high-end ultrafine flours such as baby food flour and baking powder.
2.Positive pressure airflow screen: The positive pressure fan injects air to push flour through the screen, the number of screen layers is 1-2, the screening mesh is 100-300 mesh, the output is 3-15 tons/hour, simple structure and low maintenance cost. Suitable for continuous screening of ordinary medium-coarse flour or for preliminary separation of flour from bran in small and medium-sized mills.
Oscillating Screen: An eccentric shaft drives the screen frame in complex motion. It features 1-4 screen layers, a sieving mesh size of 30-150, and a throughput of 2-12 tons/hour. It simulates manual sieving to avoid particle breakage. It is suitable for separating bran or grading whole wheat flour and mixed grain flours.
Ultrasonic Vibrating Screen: A traditional Wheat Flour Sieving Machine equipped with an ultrasonic device. It features 1-3 screen layers, a sieving mesh size of 200-800, and a throughput of 0.8-6 tons/hour. It eliminates flour clogging and improves efficiency by 30%-50%. It is suitable for fine processing of medical flour, high-end baking ultrafine flour, and high-gluten flour.
Wheat Flour Sieving Machine Solution
Sieving different flours requires matching the screen mesh size with the Wheat Flour Sieving Machine type. For low-gluten flour, choose a 40-60 mesh sieve, compatible with a vibrating screen, to balance impurity removal and fluffiness. For all-purpose flour, use a 60-80 mesh sieve, preferably a rotary vibrating screen, to balance screening efficiency and particle uniformity. For strong-gluten flour, choose an 80-100 mesh sieve, and an ultrasonic vibrating screen is recommended to prevent gluten sticking and clogging, ensuring fineness. For special needs, such as bran removal from whole wheat flour, use a 20-30 mesh coarse sieve. For ultrafine flour (such as cake flour), choose a 120-150 mesh sieve, equipped with an airflow screen to prevent dust. Equipment selection should be based on production capacity: for small batches, a tabletop vibrating screen is suitable, as it takes up less space. For large batches, a linear vibrating screen or a cylindrical screen can be used.
