Cow Dung Powder Seive Machine
After fermentation or crushing, cow dung often has problems such as uneven particle size, mixed impurities, and agglomeration. If it is used directly without screening, it will affect the granulation uniformity, fertilization effect and product appearance quality of organic fertilizer. Cow dung powder sieve machine can quickly separate oversized particles, uncooked materials and impurities according to the set mesh number, retaining qualified cow dung powder with uniform particle size and good fluidity, which not only ensures the uniformity of organic fertilizer products, but also avoids large pieces of material blocking downstream equipment or causing uneven nutrient release.
In agricultural fertilization or soil improvement, the fine cow dung powder after screening is easier to mix with soil, has good permeability, and more stable nutrient release. Therefore, the use of a screening machine is not only a means to improve production efficiency, but also a necessary process to ensure product quality and use effect.
The workflow of the cow dung powder sieve machine can be summarized as: feeding → screening (vibration/tumbling) → classification → discharging and collection. The whole process aims to achieve the refined utilization of cow dung resources and enhance its added value.
1. Feeding
Cow dung powder that has undergone preliminary processing (for example, solid-liquid separation and drying) is evenly fed into the feed port of the screening machine through conveying equipment (such as screw conveyors, belt conveyors, etc.). Ensuring uniform feeding can improve screening efficiency and reduce blockage.
2. Screening
After feeding, the cow dung powder will fall onto the screen surface of the screening machine. Screening machines usually use different types of equipment such as vibrating screens or drum screens, and their working principles are slightly different:
① Vibrating screen: The screen machine generates vibrations through an exciter, causing the material on the screen surface to continuously jump and loosen under the action of vibration. Materials with a particle size smaller than the sieve hole will pass through the sieve hole and fall to the lower layer, becoming the undersize; materials with a particle size larger than the sieve hole will remain on the screen surface and be discharged along the screen surface, becoming the oversize.
② Drum screen: The material enters the inside of the rotating drum, and the drum wall is covered with sieve holes. As the drum rotates, the material rolls and rises in the drum, small particles fall through the sieve hole, and large particles are discharged from the end of the drum. The advantages of the drum screen are its simple structure and strong adaptability to materials.
3. Grading and collection
After screening, cow dung powder of different particle sizes will be separated to different discharge ports. The underscreen material is usually finer-sized cow dung powder, which can be used for fine fertilizers, feed additives, etc. The overscreen material is usually larger-sized cow dung blocks or incompletely crushed cow dung, which can be screened again after secondary treatment (such as crushing), or used for roughage, organic fertilizer, etc.
4. Discharge and subsequent processing
The separated cow dung powder of different particle sizes is discharged through their respective discharge ports, and can be collected, packaged or further processed as needed. For example, fine powder can be granulated to make granular fertilizer, and coarse powder can be used directly as base fertilizer.

What can the cow dung powder sieve machine be used for?
As an important organic fertilizer raw material, cow dung powder is widely used in organic fertilizer production, agricultural planting soil improvement, and horticultural substrate preparation. Its screening process is particularly critical in the entire production process.
Cow dung powder sieve machine can effectively classify the dried or fermented cow dung powder according to the particle size, remove the uncrushed large pieces, impurities or agglomerates, ensure the uniform particle size of the finished product, and facilitate subsequent granulation, fermentation or packaging. In organic fertilizer plants, cow dung powder sieve machines are often used for particle size control and raw material pretreatment before granulation to improve fertilizer quality; in planting bases or ecological parks, the equipment is used to quickly screen out large impurities on site to improve application efficiency and uniformity; in soil improvement and ecological restoration projects, the fine-grained cow dung powder after screening is easier to mix with soil and has better permeability.
Choice of cow dung powder sieve machine: vibrating screen or drum screen
In the process of cow dung powder screening, whether to choose a vibrating screen or a drum screen mainly depends on the dryness of the material and the screening requirements: if the cow dung powder is fully dried, has good fluidity, and has high screening accuracy requirements, such as for particle size control before organic fertilizer granulation, it is advisable to use a vibrating screen, which has the advantages of fine screening and multi-layer grading; and if the material has a high moisture content, is easy to agglomerate or contains more impurities, it is more suitable to use a drum screen for pre-screening, because its screen holes are not easy to clog and have a large processing capacity, which is suitable for preliminary separation of large particles and impurities. In practical applications, the two devices can also be used in combination to improve the overall screening efficiency and accuracy.
Cow dung powder sieve machine is a device used for particle grading of materials such as dried cow dung, fermented cow dung or cow dung organic fertilizer. It can screen the fermented cow dung or cow dung compost to separate fine powder (organic fertilizer raw material) and coarse impurities (such as undecomposed fiber, stones, etc.). It is often used in livestock and poultry breeding, organic fertilizer processing, agricultural waste resource utilization and other scenarios.
