Chili sauce screening machine
Chili sauce screening machine can filter or sieve the seeds, skins, impurities, and fibers in chili sauce, resulting in a finer, more uniform chili sauce product with a better taste.

The processing capacity of a chili sauce screening machine depends on its model and design. Vibrating screens can handle 100-3300 kg/h, while high-frequency screens, using high-frequency vibration, can process viscous chili sauces. The equipment is made of stainless steel or other materials, making it smooth and non-sticky, ensuring safety and hygiene during chili sauce production. Commonly used screen mesh sizes are 20-80 mesh, corresponding to particles mainly around 0.2-2 mm, effectively removing chili seeds and impurities while retaining the texture of the chili peppers.
Working Principle of a Chili Sauce Screening Machine
The chili sauce screening machine uses a vibrating motor installed at the bottom of the machine as the excitation source. The motor drives an eccentric wheel to vibrate, causing the chili sauce to be evenly distributed and quickly passed through the screen. Larger particles or impurities are screened out, while the finer sauce flows smoothly through the screen to downstream containers. This vibration mode ensures even force on the screen surface, preventing clogging and splashing. The screen material is mostly high-strength 316L stainless steel wire mesh, or corrosion-resistant nylon mesh as needed, to ensure that the screen does not deform or break under long-term contact with acidic sauces.

Chili Sauce Screening Machine Equipment Types
Chili sauce, due to its high viscosity, presence of fiber and seeds, and possible oil content, is a relatively difficult material to screen. The following two types of chili sauce screening machines are available:
The vibrating screen is suitable for semi-fluid chili sauces with moderate viscosity and containing a small amount of fine seeds and fiber. The mesh size for screening chili sauce is typically between 20 and 120 mesh, which can be selected according to the desired smoothness of the sauce. One to five layers of screens can be used simultaneously for grading and screening, with a production capacity ranging from 100 to 3300 kg/h. Its function is to remove coarse fiber, incompletely crushed chili skins, and clumps from the chili sauce, achieving preliminary solid-liquid separation and impurity removal. The fully enclosed structure is easy to clean and prevents sauce splashing and cross-contamination.

High-frequency screens typically vibrate at frequencies exceeding 3000 times per minute, surpassing the vibration frequency of ordinary vibrating screens. Therefore, they are suitable for viscous chili sauces with high viscosity and fiber content, which have poor flowability and are prone to screen clogging. Their sieving mesh size ranges from 40 to 200 mesh. The function is to disrupt the surface tension of the sauce through high-frequency, low-amplitude vibration, effectively removing clogging, improving sieving efficiency, and ensuring a smooth and delicate sauce. A significant feature is its excellent anti-clogging effect, solving the screen clogging problem that easily occurs when vibrating screens process such chili sauces.

Applicable Materials for Chili Sauce Screening Machines
Chili sauce screening machines can process most types of chili sauces. Whether it's fermented garlic chili sauce, fermented black bean chili sauce, or ready-to-eat rice seasoning or hot pot base; whether it's a low-viscosity thin sauce or a high-viscosity thick sauce; whether it's a chili sauce containing noticeable particles to enhance texture or a premium sauce aiming for a smooth, residue-free finish, this equipment can be adapted by adjusting vibration parameters, screen mesh size, and screen angle.

Chili sauce screening machine application scenarios
Chili sauce screening machines are used in the following application scenarios. During operation, they can connect with upstream chili grinders and mixers, as well as downstream filling and packaging machines, to automate chili sauce production.
In traditional chili sauce production, raw materials often contain chili seeds, stems, leaves, or insufficiently ground lumps. These impurities not only affect the taste but also easily clog filling equipment. Using a chili sauce screening machine, filtering can be performed before the sauce enters the cans, resulting in a smoother and more uniform sauce.
When condiment factories produce mixed chili sauces, the particle size of different raw materials varies greatly, easily leading to uneven taste. Screening machines can standardize particle size, removing coarse particles and lumps, ensuring a smooth texture and taste, while reducing rework or quality defects in subsequent production stages.

Chili sauce screening machine production line
During the operation of the chili sauce production line, the crushed or roasted chili sauce material is conveyed to the feed inlet of the screening machine via a bucket elevator. After entering the chili sauce screening machine, the equipment vibrates through multiple layers of screens with different mesh sizes, finely screening the sauce. The screened sauce then passes through the screens into a washing machine or roasting machine. This integrated automated process ensures a consistent and smooth texture in the chili sauce and improves the continuous operation efficiency of the production line.

Chili sauce screening machines, commonly used in processing chili sauce, can be customized by DaHan Machinery manufacturers based on the viscosity, solid content, and expected production volume of the chili sauce. This includes customizing the appropriate screen size, inlet and outlet diameters and locations, and vibration modes. The screening machine considers upstream and downstream connections; its inlet can be easily connected to upstream woks, mixing tanks, or buffer tanks via pipes or conveyor belts; its outlet can be directly connected to downstream homogenizers, storage tanks, or fully automatic filling machines, achieving seamless integration and forming a continuous automated production line. This makes chili sauce production smoother and saves time.
